My name is Thalia and i would like to welcome you to my blog!
Now please allow me to share with you some information about myself. I live in Athens, Greece and i spend most of my free time on the computer doing research about pretty much anything that has to do with my field of studies. That is also part of the reason this blog came to life, after realising that my memory alone could not possibly absorb all the new information i am getting. (You can read more information about the reasons of creating this blog at the "About this blog" section).
As far as my studies are concerned, I got my first diploma at the University Of Crete, from the Philosophy Faculty, Department of Philosophy and Social Studies and then i proceeded in obtaining a Master's degree at the University of Athens, from the Faculty of Primary Education, entitled "Special Education - Speech Therapy, Counselling". During my studies i have attended several seminars and lectures and i have completed my practical training in Special Education Schools, Special Education and Speech Therapy Centers, Diagnostic Centers and mainstream Schools that provide support to special needs students. Last but not least, i have volunteered for short periods of time at an Institution for the protection of children (Hamogelo tou Paidiou) and at a Therapeutic Riding Center where i learned a lot and admired the important job all these people that are working there are doing.
